I have got to tell you about the service I received from Amazon!
Several weeks ago I ordered to books. I received a message stating they were being shipped by separate mail. One came the other did not.

So I waited a week then called. The lady was very apologetic and checked and could not see that it had been sent. She immediately issued another one to be sent at no cost (of course) and sent over night. It came the next day.


What great service! I have ordered from Amazon many times with orders coming very quickly. And now this. I will always recommend Amazon and praise them highly.

First Sale on Fiverr

Well of all things! I just had my first sale on Fiverr for two PinkieBaby Owls and they are on their way to Israel.

Can you believe that someone from another country would order and buy something for five dollars and pay to have it sent? I feel very honored. The person was kind enough to write a note saying that they were going on the refrigerator at the office.

Update On Fiverr Site

The Fiverr gurus are really out there to protect the buyers interest. Not sure about the sellers!! I posted one gig featuring my angry birds. Waited a few hours for them to review the gig to see if they will post it to the public. Yep, it is not an automatic posting. Which for the seller, is a good thing.

A couple of days later I posted two of my three style of owls. And another gig of two of my owls. I am doing 2 for 5.00. One of these then is a duplicate of one owl on the other gig. The two gigs were reviewed and the second one was declined as being to similar to the first one.

Ok, they don't want duplicate gigs. I can see that. I felt mine was offering a different set of owls, but..... What about all those silly gigs that are identical, except for different wording? Hmmm

Oh well, If you would like to order my angry bird or owl magnets through Artfire go to http://creation-in-clay.artfire.com . I have them listed several ways so you can pick and choose. They do make great little gifts for one child to give to another. They can use them on bulletin boards to hold their favorite pictures or whatever.

Have You Heard About A Site Called Fiverr?

Just recently I learned about a site called Fiverr. It is a site to buy and sell all kinds of things, many really crazy!  The thing is they do sell! It is a fun site and I have put my refrigerator magnets on it.

Nothing sells for over $5.00 or even under. All sales go through Paypal, so you are protected. Fiverr calls each of your sales  "gigs". You can have up to twenty gigs at a time.

When you go to their home page, you are immediately seeing all the recent listings. To the right is an index of categories. You have got to check Fiverr out, it is wild and crazy. This is just one and this has become a featured seller!

Newest Polymer Clay Sculpture

Meet Bartholomew! He is such a nice man and lived way back in time. He does love Christmas and is busy collecting Christmas trees to decorate. This sculpture made of Polymer Clay and wire armature is OOAK and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Please don't mention his nose to him as he is very self-conscious and embarrassed by what he did. But it really wasn't his fault as he had never heard of glass!

More On My Fantasy Film Wings.

I am beginning to get the hang of it! These I will use on the Angels I am making.

This one has the little micro beads and is prettier than it photographed. Just like glitter, there are little beads everywhere!











This one as you can see, has gold glitter. I love sparkle! I got it to close to the heat and up popped a hole. So, I added another one to the other side. If you can't lick um, join um.

This little angel is not quite finished and hasn't gotten her wings yet. See just had to have her picture taken and put in this blog.

Fairy and Angel Wings Using Fantasy Film

After doing the chores like doing laundry, I started making wings for my angels and fairies using Fantasy Film. Have you seen any wings made with this film?

I have seen picture of dolls with beautiful realistic wings and have really admired them. And of course, wanted to try this technique.

It is not easy and requires practice and don't be disappointed when you mess up several times. Maybe it will not happen to you and you make a beautiful set of wings the first time you try!

This a picture of the first method I have tried. It actually makes a beautiful wing. (I know you can't tell it by looking at mine.) I am definitely not ruling this method out, but think it needs to be used for bigger wings that I am trying to make for my angels. They are harder to make and maybe after I get a little more practice with the Fantasy Film, I will be able to make the

My second attempt was working, except I got it to close to the heat.  Yep, those are holes through the film. Got it to close to the heat. Believe me it is easy to do.

I have added a close-up showing my messy mess of wires.

This one is a little better. Not good enough to use, but I will keep them. This method uses both wings and two layers of Fantasy Film. It is easier to work with, especially for me.  It is on my angel with the hair that looks like worms!










Ok, this is the last one so far! I am getting better. They are so pretty and will add so much to my wee people, it is worth the effort. I took two pics. with and without flash. Trying to pick up the glitter that I added.

Back to making wings. Will post some of my finished and improved wing pictures in a day or two.
